"My Latest Review: Katie has been our agent for nearly 18 years now and continues to exceed our expectations as the insurance needs of our family constantly evolve (kids getting driver's licenses or moving off to college, elderly parents, looming retirement...you name it, she consistently finds a way to help). My highest recommendations to Katie and her team! My Previous Review (3 Years Ago): When we moved to the Madison area in 2007 we needed renter's insurance for our apartment. Not knowing anyone in town we could ask for advice, we chose Katie and her team primarily because they were in our neighborhood and we could walk right over. Looking back with 20/20 hindsight, it turned out that we couldn't have made a better choice even if we had done more research. We have been with them for 14 years now (and counting) for home and auto insurance, even though we don't live nearby anymore, which is a solid testimony to the quality of the State Farm products and, much more importantly, to the quality of the people in that office. Professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and friendly, they have consistently provided excellent advice on insurance-related matters. Most recently, I worked with Beth in Katie's office when I needed to add a new renter's insurance policy. This time, however, it wasn't for us but rather for my parents who are in the process of downsizing and moving into an apartment in the area. Beth was really great and figured out exactly what we needed in only a few minutes while finding the time to connect on a personal level as we discussed the needs and challenges of caring for aging parents. On the other end of the continuum, our oldest child is just beginning her driver's education classes so I'm sure we will be in touch with Katie and Beth again soon to prepare for that (as if anything can ever truly prepare a parent for that :-) Heartfelt thanks to Katie, Beth, and the whole team there for giving our family fourteen years of insurance, guidance and peace-of-mind."

"I wrote this e-mail to Katie today, and I think it serves better as a review than most of the reviews I've written. Dear Katie, As a long-term, loyal, and 100% satisfied customer of your enterprise, let me first just say thank you. It seems rare these days for there to be a part of my life that just hums along without requiring any attention, but my auto insurance policy has done exactly that. In addition to my general gratitude, however, this message is mainly to communicate my appreciation and admiration of your employee Jake, who helped me add an extra vehicle to my policy today. I entered our conversation knowing very little about this process, and Jake was there at every turn to inform and instruct me on next steps. He noticed that my auto insurance policy might benefit by adding an inexpensive policy to cover anyone who was hurt in a traffic incident, and tacked that on for both of my vehicles. He was knowledgeable about every step of the process, and remained calm despite the fact that I'm always a little hard to deal with when it comes to subjects I don't know much about - especially when I feel like I should know more about them than I do. He told me how to find the VIN, and remained patient while I looked for it. He also helped me set up automatic payments on both of my policies, after I told him about my concerns regarding late payments. As I list all the different ways Jake helped me today, I'm realizing that I could sit here writing a lot more about what an excellent job Jake did - his friendly manner, his patience and courtesy - and my words would still fall short. Suffice to say that I was extremely impressed by the quality of customer service Jake provided, and I thought that you should know that.
